The Cairns Yoga Academy is situated in the cultural precinct of Edge Hill, directly across from the gorgeous Centenary Lakes park, surrounded by massive gum trees and tranquil gardens.

The Cairns Academy is the largest Yoga Studio in Cairns encompassing 2 dedicated  yoga studios as well as the Cairns Holistic Centre which offers various massage treatments and workshops.

Studio 1

The smaller sized studio (~200m²) holds 25-30 students on mats. This unique space features two enormous open screened voids providing natural light, fresh breezes and calming views into the zen garden and the back lawn. In the evening dimmer lights and candles provide a serene & perfect environment for Yoga.

The studio is fully equipped with a rope wall & large selection of yoga props. This studio is also used for the popular private therapy classes. The Cairns Yoga Academy is the only Yoga school with custom made therapy yoga props such as the large tressler and heart bench.

Studio 2

Is bright and very large holding +30 students on mats. 2 of the 4 walls are of glass doors and windows with views onto the gardens and providing fresh breezes into the studio. Studio 2 is also equipped with yoga props.

Bathrooms

Each studio has 2 or more bathrooms (with wheel chair access) and changing facilities.  A shower is also available to all students.

Library

A free yoga library is available to all regular students of the Cairns Yoga Academy. Numerous books & contemporary magazines on yoga & well-being are available to read in-house or to take home.

Studio for Hire

Both studios are available for hire.  Hourly rate is $25 p/hr. Please contact us for more information and availability.

Boutique 

The yoga boutique stocks quality yoga props, mats, clothing, ayurvedic products, books and yoga sandals. All items are also available on-line.
